Helping You Move Forward

It's hard being out there in the world when you feel even a little bit off.

It's even more difficult when you don't feel like anything is a good fit for

who you really are or you're not feeling sure of yourself.

Add on top of that stress of anxiety and self-esteem issues that many persons

experience no matter how they identify, it's overwhelming and exhausting.

As a 50+ years old, queer, cis female, I've experienced many stumbles and obstacles in life. It's created a passion for me to work with those persons seeking out ways to alleviate their anxiety, and build self-confidence. Folx that want to move forward in balancing their lives and obtaining their goals, and doing so in healthy ways.

I've been fortunate to have had an interesting work history which gave me many opportunities to meet persons from various countries and cultures. I was part of the administration offices at the Trinity Bettendorf campus. Prior to Trinity Medical Center, I worked at The Stanley Foundation working with community colleges to include international and intercultural education in their curriculum for their non-traditional student populations. This work afforded me the opportunity to also become a Fulbright scholar. And just before that experience, I was part of the office staff for the Downtown Davenport Development Corporation.

Since 2015, I have been a crisis clinician at UnityPoint Health Trinity Medical Center, Emergency Department, in the Crisis Stabilization Unit. I found that I wanted to have more time to work with my clients, something that’s not possible in the Emergency Department setting. I transitioned from crisis work to private practice to continue working one to one with clients.

My clients are high-functioning, motivated, and committed to participating

in the work to create a more balanced life for themselves. And I’m grateful

and appreciative that they want me to assist them on that journey.

I look forward to working with you!
